In what turned out to be one of the most successful years in Worktank history, the team came together for the first time in over a year and a half to celebrate Worktank’s 20th anniversary – with many teammates meeting face-to-face for the first time.

“It was amazing – and a little surreal – to be in the same physical space with folks I’ve been working with virtually for many months,” says Evan Sadler, Worktank’s Director of Content Solutions, who joined Worktank in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. “We all needed this time to relax, laugh and have a fun excursion. It’s been a challenging year on many levels and such a reward to finally be together.”

When the world went fully remote, and the demand for virtual communications exploded, Worktank rose to the challenge. The team worked around the clock, assisting hundreds of c-suite executives at Fortune 500 companies to communicate, collaborate and stay connected – even while working remotely themselves. As a result, the company has grown exponentially, adding many new clients and long-term partnerships.

Worktank celebrated their hard work over the past year and a half – and long overdue 20th anniversary – with a boat cruise around Lake Union and Lake Washington in Worktank’s hometown of Seattle, followed by dinner at Daniel’s Broiler.

The team enjoyed good food, wine, and long-overdue camaraderie, and received Seattle-ready anniversary gifts, including Worktank-branded jackets, backpacks, t-shirts, coffee mugs and notepads.

“This was the first time we’d all been together in over a year,” notes Leslie Rugaber, Worktank’s CEO. “And after this past 18 months, it was so welcome. We all missed each other, more than I’d even realized.”
