Evan Sadler

As Director of Content Solutions, Evan leads the content creation and production team to build and deliver the highest quality onsite and virtual broadcasts. Before joining Worktank, Evan was head of production at creative education pioneer CreativeLive and oversaw large content production, broadcast and post-production teams in Seattle and San Francisco.

Evan is a 10+ year Microsoft veteran who led creative and editorial teams with focus on online education and branded entertainment. Everything Evan learned throughout his career originated in his love and passion for live theater and specifically as a founding member and managing director of Provincetown Repertory Theater.

Q&A with Evan:  

What do you like best about your job?
Early career days, I managed a professional theater – and I love a similar “live” energy at Worktank where the team together takes on huge challenges with tough deadlines, yet is rewarded by their hard work after delivering an amazing broadcast.

How do you like to spend your time outside of the office? Do you have any hobbies?
I’ve been practicing yoga for over 11 years, and recently I became a registered yoga instructor to better my practice, but also encourage and help folks who are overweight or deal with mobility issues. Yoga is an amazing regimen to relieve chronic stress and pain.

What is your favorite movie, and why?
Anything by director Billy Wilder would make my top 5 list – and I single out The Apartment (my favorite holiday film) as it is a brilliant story that balances grief, vulnerability and redemption with righteous humor.

What is your favorite quote?
I have two: “Only connect” E.M. Forester and “a rising tide lifts all boats.”
