Cherlaine Ordona

Cherlaine joined Worktank in 2012, while still finishing her last quarter of school, and was offered a permanent position as Office Manager & Executive Assistant after graduation. For two years, Cherlaine helped manage the Company’s marketing campaigns and took on a small role with accounts receivable and accounts payable.

In 2014, Cherlaine made the transition to the production team, and she has never looked back! As a producer for Worktank, Cherlaine enjoys working with clients to plan and execute their virtual events – a task that requires a unique combination of technical expertise and well-honed people skills. Luckily, Cherlaine has both in spades.

What do you like best about your job?
I like how fast paced it can be, and the combination of technology and client facing responsibilities. There is also the feeling of accomplishment after running a successful event for a client.

How do you like to spend your time outside of the office?
I enjoy spending time with my partner. We’re both very active people and enjoy running, lifting weights, hiking, and camping. My other hobbies include reading, working on my aquarium, going to breweries on the weekend, and the occasional video game. I’m still trying to beat Zelda: Breath of the Wild on the Nintendo Switch.

What is your favorite book of all time?
At the moment, it’s a tie between two books, Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte and a book of poetry called Salt by Nayyirah Waheed. I’m partial to classic literature and, in the case of Jane Eyre, a strong-headed woman during that time period is impressive. Salt, on the other hand, explores the realities of multiple identities, language, pain and suffering, self-love, and healing through poetry.
